So many times the tragic, turns to comic
When you see, past the trumpet
No more fads, no more games
Leaving the left, to go insane
It’s amazing what happens, when nothing to lose
When you discover, the master fool
One more round, before leaving the town
Not quite ready, for what you’ve grown
Have another, drink on me
For I know you’re trying, to escape the sea
We’re all humans, struggling to be
Here’s to the unknown tree
It might take years, lifetimes and more
Before you see, a sign of the door
So many false bridges, from which you fell
In the end is only, what you can sell
Call it short term, ignoring the picture
Dropping the torch, you were meant to deliver
Starting up new, with a couple of sticks
DNA strands, a dozen to connect
