It started so long ago, before kings were known
And all we needed, was the sun
So many stars, near and far
Just to be, was always fun
Dance on waves, no need to escape
Living libraries are saw
Without the books, try to look
At where you are
But you know the story, full of glory
Just a few twists of the strands
Some say nicked, either way adrift
Reaching for any hand
How could you know, when grabbing hold
How long it would last
Over time, no need for signs
But can never go back
So here you are, might be too far
What you’d call a perspective
From what you’ve seen, not only in dreams
Call it your own directive
One more try, before you die
