When All Is Past

As the world gets smaller, where is the balance
The most you hear, is when all is silent
Imagination grows, connecting dots
Sometimes you see, others forgot
What can you do, a pawn in the game
Except for your own, and the part to play
The queen or king, of their own mind
Letting the soul, find a higher ride
You might have tried, a thousand times or more
But the fact you’re still here, we’re all on the floor
Mostly in struggle, to find our own way
Caught in the loop, never time for the stray
Who needs to go further, than just a few steps
When at least a thousand, before you get
A sense at all, the lines in the script
The rise and fall, of every matrix
Sometimes every wave, a watershed
Reset everything, rise from the dead
Remember what broke, what made you trip
How to cross the moat, without a slip
Maybe you’ll make it, maybe you won’t
Try again, put on a new coat
Removing masks, to break the glass
Illusions found, when all is past
