The seas are calm, ripples yawn
The storm has just passed
Feel the sun, the golden one
Shining on the glass
That must break, steps to take
Your own path is told
What will it be, a long lost tree
Shattered is the mold
Growing new, nothing left to lose
Shame is a foreign word
Who’s to blame, lose the name
Playing a different chord
From a place, barely a trace
Some call it nothing but lore
After awhile, no denial
The fruits that lay in store
Yours to pick, no more tricks
Fermenting over time
If too late, stronger the taste
You might end up blind
It’s no matter, surface wither
Shedding another skin
In the end, spot the trend
