Sometimes we might, forget the song
All you can do, is hum along
After a while, getting strong
Tapping with your feet
Where it goes, through the door
Feel to rise, from the floor
Strike a match, to your core
Before another scream
That’s been searching, to break a chain
Try to prove, not yet lame
The only way, is always the same
Feel the knocks to know
Cross a field, you’ve never seen
Stumble on, magic beans
Never been, quite so lean
Laughing is the crow
Who played the role, many times before
Seek a joke to explore
Along a path, to not ignore
Watching for a clue
Instinct tracks, smell the attack
Flags go up, is it a trap
Stepping out, to see the map
It’s never always blue
So you say, to make it through the day
Most of your fears, have been played
Nothing more, than a name to say
Breaking all the clocks
See the cube, have a drink
All are watching, for you to sink
If you dare, to ever blink
Stripped down to your socks
Hear the stories, deceiving smiles
Look again, a crocodile
No such thing, as a fair trial
Mostly on your own
See the blues, in every play
Hard to accept, a mark to stay
