Connecting Strands

I will connect, all of my strands
A stake to claim, my own command
Maybe in dreams, a little more is seen
The time and space, has all turned green
Letting it build, to embrace and extend
Every once in a while, help from a friend
It sure is nice, to take a rest
You just might see, all was in jest
Once it’s done, I’ll feel the sun
Pouring pitches, stay or run
Maybe both, it’s part of my genes
World’s to connect, even unseen
But until then, I’m here in the now
My only plan, instinct to plow
What will happen, no doubt some tragic
When it’s found, some will say it’s magic
What about the rest, who thought they were the best
Maybe recycled, free will to test
What is human, without the woman
Creation left, some say abandoned
But the secret ingredient, has never been touched
Nor will it ever, only yours to clutch
Use or not, a part of the play
Or throw out the script, if you’d like to stay
