I wanted to thank you, for all that you’ve done
No problem if I, at first didn’t understand
The tunes and the lyrics, solo and band
Some fast and slow, words hypnotize
Of instinct feelings, sunsets and sunrise
Backwards and forwards, throughout history
Poets and painters, laughing at the scenes
Sometimes I’ve felt weird, playing it so much
I don’t like tunnel vision, and it feels like a crutch
When I’m down or lonely, lost in foreign places
Songs striking chords, aligning all the pieces
Here’s to so many others, I don’t want to leave any out
So names I won’t say, it’s better said without
I hope you don’t mind my copy, for I’m learning too
