i think of everything that means so much to me and the gift you gave
2,000 years and still so many choose not to believe
we see it for ourselves
but never understand the meaning
years of promises
never spoke again until succumbed to visions so deceiving

another year has passed resolve to seek your face
pray you’ll hold me close
carried through these days enveloped in your grace
we’ve lost it all along the way
and now there’s nothing left to say
