It grows in the depths of heartache
In the absence of hope

While the blind eyes
Keep staring at frailty of existence
And mind falls into the boundless fields of oblivion
The undertow of guild
The burden of loss
Withdrawn and distant
Defeated and weakened
Asleep in the deep
Of inner abode
Deserted and bleak
Shuddering wad
Sodden with helplessness
Time stands still
The path ends
Faith is no more
The meaning is gone
It devours knowing no mercy
Wrenching the heart
And squeezing lungs
When the deafening silence
Keeps absorbing soundless screams
And soul passes into the endless
Mazes of insanity
