Happy Place

When I was younger, younger than today.
I would sit around and play.
Sitting under a crystal clear blue sky.
In a daydream I would hide.
Now I’m older and I never have the time
To just stare into the sky.
Though I won’t give up on these silly dreams.
They’re all I have left now it seems.
And I don’t feel I must explain.
Now everybody’s caught up in their lives.
Could not care less about mine.
So it don’t matter what the hell I do.
I’m just trying to be happy too.
And I’m looking forward, I’m looking for the girl.
I’ll search all over this world.
I’ll sing my heart out to anyone that hears.
Conquer each and every fear.
And I don’t feel I must explain.
