Streetlight amber starts to disperse and shun itself from everyone
As dew soaked grandeur falls onto anyone in the early morning sun
The heat, it weighs a ton
Calming silence cuts through the silky haze, shimmering and tame
Painted islands race to the nearest frame, before they meet the flame
Burn off the memories, and rotten remedies
That seek to hunt the weak, and make it certain that the heat
Will cause you to perspire, sweat out the night’s desire
Until at last you see the morning sun will prove…
Its' heat, will overwhelm
