Scarlet horizons melt with midnight blues
Pale magenta mist shy yet dawning an abstraction of views
Time is moving so quick, how can we catch it?
But If something is caught, can it truly be free?
Taking one last glance, your tired eyes
Giving hue to them, my sunlit rhymes
But I’d spend all night, gazing at the moon
Laying in an air glow, reminiscing on you
Evanescent stars how they run too soon
As the eclipse ends, you’re fading out of view
The stern unforgiving truth is my best friend
He is reflective in light, tries to find me through apothic depths
It felt so cold to feel your shade on my skin
The lustre rays expose colour stained surface
Painting your moon-dust as my daylight woke
I said this love was art, I guess I’m selling it, broke
