Haunted

I should have thrown away my pride
I shouldn’t have chosen to be right
I should have listened to my heart and soul
I should’ve never opened that door
I can’t stop thinking ‘bout that night
Now I know the words I should have said
But now I know the past is gone
Ahead I have a road to walk alone
Her eyes haunt me in my loneliness
Recalling days that were worth being lived
