Peace or Pieces?

I won’t get back home tonight
As this night rises like a tide
I need to find some peace of mind
Tomorrow I may gather my pieces from the ground
Am I isolated in a selfish dream?
Or my paranoia brought me here?
And the world that I belong to
Is falling apart
Tell me what I’m doing wrong
Everything is falling down
Have I filled this void with cheap thrills?
Have I lived running away from my fears?
Have I spent much time in this hole?
Tell me how to escape from my own world
Am I apart from this?
I am disconnected but I’m not free
I’m living this moment so unsteadily
Tell me what I have besides my regrets!
