Final Prayer

If this is gonna work
I need to confess my sins
Merciful father, accept these prayers for the sake of my soul
And I eat a lot of crap and then I talk a lot about this
World I cannot live upon
And how I wish I could end it all
Lord, lift up my heart and cut it open with your mind
And let me not think about my selfishness any more
And I dream a lot of dirty things and dirty men
And dirty words and wake up screaming, sweats and all
And then sleep again as nothing’s wrong
Lord, I am not worthy
Not worthy to receive you
But only say the words and I shall be healed
If healed means I will never love another man
I’ll never be a mother
And my future wasn’t ever planned
And I will never hold these hands
And I can never keep a job
And I can never keep this up
This is my final prayer for love
