Final Breath

Cold and dark is the night
As I make my way to you
A cigarette is my own light

From the bands we both enjoyed
As suddenly a light appears
My memory fades at this point
A crash, a smell, a noise!
A fire, the smoke, no choice!
Right now i’m flying, i’m flying so high
And when I close my eyes I feel like I can touch the sky
But I’m afraid, afraid to look back
My feet are burning as I fall
The ground will break my neck
This is the end, the end of my own realm

My lungs are filling up with blood
As I take my final breath

A woman in a white dress
And some flowers in bloom
She’s looking at me with a smile
