I live for these weekends
And to take advantage of second chances
With glances, still an outcast kid

The days are getting longer
And the years are getting shorter

All my high school friends
Are either on drugs
Or live far north from
This town we were raised in
They’ve escaped
To better places than this

To finally get away
I live near the east Atlantic
