I took what’s mine
What gets back to me
Rightfully

You kept shining because of me
I sowed your skin
I set the trumpets
I launched on new lands
Giving you a higher renown
And widening your soil
I learned about you for the best
And found out what you could be used for
Knowledge drilled holes in the veil
And cured your rotten sight
I am the discoverer
You came as a conqueror
Beating the hearts sustaining you
You head to your doom
Already scythed my skin off
And you did it for your own greed
I could drain your souls
Down to the abyss of existence
Present the convincing flames
And guide the four-legged mount
To stomp on your lives
This is a dreadful assessment
You set for both of us
Sinking in your own loss
You gently took shape in my sludge
