Headcase

Questions drift into my head
Pondering everything that’s said
Is this pity pushing shame?
Or is the an attempt to recover all that’s sane
Blue green worlds grip a man this way
My greatest fear is this all will stay
Helping hands nudge me to the edge
If you ask if I’m all right one more time I’ll flex and react
I’m trapped inside my own head
I used to look into their eyes
While walking by
But now my paranoia grins
Will they see the angst within?
WAIT NOW! Sunrise?
