This hole is my home, It’s far underground
I hide from the world and the deafening sounds
That show me the world can’t move slowly
All the routine
And our, and our meaningless lives
All we had is gone
Tell me Lord what have we become?
When water, earth and sky are sacrificed

Factory smoke seeps into clouds
Will my children’s children choke on our ignorance?
Choosing to live destructive, pestilent cold lives
