I used to ponder about eternity
About what it would mean for you and me
But now I’ve escaped the bars
Into a world that’s cold but real
And though I’m not sure how I’d feel
I wouldn’t go back, even if I was
Stripped of all I had
I’ve reached my conclusion, it’s no debate
For where I’m at
The ocean has a bottom
The sun an end
The time we’re given slips through the
Fingers just like sand
