i tried hard to speak
but i couldn’t breathe
my mind decided
this all was a dream
where i won’t wake up and find myself in bed
eyes stuck to the phone
ring once again
let me be a friend
try to explain
this can’t be the end
i was too late to know
you were over the edge
as the last words were spoken
i’d never see you again
absent of tears
my biggest fear
was that i had failed
and made you disappear
although i know it wasn’t me on whome you wanted revenge
it doesn’t bring me release
