Heaven and Earth

Lord, to whom shall we go?
You have the words of eternal life (John 6:68)
And we have believed
And have come to know
That You are
The Holy One of God (John 6:69)
The Word made flesh (John 1:14)
The risen Son
Heaven and earth will pass away (Matt. 24:35)
But the Word of the Lord endures forever (1 Peter 1:25)
All of this world is in decay (1 Peter 1:24)
But the Word of our God through ages remains
Lord, You promised that we, as Your church,
Would remain upon this rock
The gates of hell will not prevail against us (Matt. 16:18)
‘Cause You have power to keep
Your Word unspoiled in purity
Heaven and earth will pass away (Matt. 24:35)
But the Word of the Lord endures forever (1 Peter 1:25)
All of this world is in decay (1 Peter 1:24)
But the Word of our God through ages remains
As the rain falls down from heaven
And waters the earth
Bringing it life
So the Word that goes out from Your mouth
Will not return empty
But does what You desire (Isaiah 55:10−11)
Lord, we hear Your word
And believe in You (John 5:24)
