Pull The Brakes

A moment to go through past days
A moment to stop to activate breaks
To reflect on something more, inmost to the core
Just to make sure we’re all alive and well
Can you tell?
A moment to slow the speed down
A moment to greet the ones we surround
Tomorrow someone’s gone, another’s left alone
Then it is too late to tell what can’t wait
Make sure they know before they go
