My life, dried out, waiting for you since my first breath
«Fate for us to unite, it had to be you», they said
Promise the eternity, adorning our tale
Yesterday these words didn’t seem to be enough
We used to breathe the same air, tread the same ground
Crossing the same frontiers, fulfilling on those dearest to us
So why escape our former happiness?
We clinched to nourish again from that fading us
Time despises our poems, those confident words
Wrinkles corrode our minds, but yours maybe not such as mine
Time denies our poems, those heartfelt words
Wrinkles alter our minds, but yours maybe not such as mine
My life, dried out, all what we’ve shared cannot fade out
We met, a chance, all that remains for me to see
The story grew in the sweat of our bodies
Still today these words don’t seem to be enough
