Where You Are

I’ll make myself available so I can be there for the fall,
I take myself from comfortable
I walk towards the call.
I see where you are,
And where I need to be.
But between you & me
There’s an awful lot of pain
And I don’t know if I can make it.
I’d like to think that I’m available so I can be there when you fall,
I try to take myself from comfortable

But where you are
Is unfamiliar to me.
But if I’m honest with myself,
I don’t know if I can hold you, without crumbling.
Will I make myself available?
Will I be when you fall?
