Stormbringer

A storm gathers on the horizon
A cold wind bellows in the night
Trees whisper a woe
Their leaves gather at my feet
In this silence I can’t conceive
Under the moonlit sky, it’s the death of me
This threat grows in the distance
Ominous to take you away from me
But I shall not turn my gaze away
Nor shall I walk the bitter road away from you
Winter hath not darken’d the skies for us
Stormbringer!
Nor it hath frozen our spring blossoms
You cannot darken the skies for us
Stormbringer!
You may not freeze this spring blossom
The storm is velvet embraced
Its chill saddens my waking hour
What can I do in its misery?
How can I yearn for life?

An army of light guides my final stand

Glorious moonlight
Reflection of the sun!
