The ascension of oceans
A depth charging sun sinks
Explosions below the light
Water reflects the roof of the world
The view is dim and vast
Infinite painful beauty
Rivers of a broken past to cross
In this moment of slow clarity
With a tear in the veil
A place within the earth bleeds through
This universe will collapse onto the sky
Waves of worlds floods the haven of consciousness
The landscape grows barren
Colors turn monochromatic
Age has blessed these roots beneath the earth
Still life slumbers here
