All I Used to Believe

I used to believe in freedom
Now I’m reaching for a better world
That won’t fall and trumble everything on its way
I used to believe in reason
Now I know it’s just an empty word
Too flexible, too dominating
Serves what ever we do or say
All I used to believe
All those naive stupid dreams
Programmed to me
Exalted and high, mankind’s collective side
Seems now selfish and naive
I used to believe in God
Now I don’t know even what it means
I just know this crazy world makes sense
I used to believe in bible
Now I see it’s just an awful book
A lot of wisdom mixed with a lot of non-sense

A lot of horror to see
When the years pass by, so many lies
