Vacated the landscape
In the meantime, time treated you kind

The pendulum swings on gravity’s strings
There’s no shaking it off
Whether it’s screens or old magazines
The truth is everyone’s chained

Despite the mental decline

Acquainted with the unknown
Wearing glasses you spray-painted black
Avoiding eye contact
As you crawl out from your selfish heap
You’ll need a change of plans
Because nothing will be as serene
When you’re not under attack
A walking symptom of the daily disease
