Lay my head to sleep now,
wipe it all away,
scattered photos or so I call those,
the pieces of my day,
Mind is moving fast now,
thoughts begin to spark,
not much time to sleep now,
with this broken heart,
Reasons why it didn’t work,
don’t add up and start to stir inside, my head,
Rolling over and back again,
give me sleep so heart can mend,
