Lament

No one to trust in 2020 I lament
It’s war going on outside there
My world is moving so fast today
The past seems so far away
Who am I to say
What tomorrow as in store for me
Wrote a lament for the pain for it hurts
So I stick to this script with a lament
I’m the voice of the mass
The true ghetto news that’s out spoken in class
They ignore our pain
But we got to keep it moving
Upwards and forward is the only way
It’s hard to carry on in a world where people want your energy drained
So I lament, I lament, with this pen and pad
I lament, I’m missing in my environment
In my neighborhood they wonder whre I went
It’s goodbye for th moment
Keeping my distance from human who act like goblins, who can’t understand what
I meant
I’m going through life’s pain
I’m dealing with it alone and I lament
Looking for solutions, I’ll make a plan
