Well I wake up
Go to work
and I come home
and I put on a clean shirt
I go to the phone booth
and I call up the boys
See if they’re ready to go downtown and make some noise
Grab a guitar
I try and get in the mood
To go play for three hours for free beer and food

I stay out all night
I watch the sun come up
It’s time to swing by the coffee hut for a hot cup
It’s back to the apartment now baby
We’re laughin' about where we’ve been
It’s time to get cleaned up cause it’s Saturday night and we get go out
