A man has a chance, to give his all.
I believe my odds were better, cause of my Dad and Mom.
They put food on the table, and a roof over my head.
And when I was sick, they helped me to bed.
And I’ve been thinking about that alot these days.

And these are just a couple things I’m glad that they did.
It may go easy or hard, I hope I can give back

I stand on my own two feet, whenever I can
