Palm cool water onto my forehead

I shot a sparrow in mama’s garden
Next to a rose
I shot my brother in his right hand
When he ratted me out
«brother how much do you want to bet?»
«well how much have you got?»
That’s all he said
Sunday morning, choking on brake dust
Feeling me rust
How will I know when I am broken
And I’ve had enough?
Just take your sins and make them feel like loves
