Patience

We spent the night inside a lighthouse
Hoping that someone would tell us what we're dreaming about
We've had enough for one day
Of walking around in circles
Waiting for some answers
To questions that don't have any
But I'll do it again tomorrow
And better yet again, the day after that
I was hoping
I was hoping you'd be here by now
How long do we have to be here?
And how come we haven't seen you?
We all were afraid to say it?
But how far will our patience take us?
We've had enough for lifetime
Of living in the cycle
Waiting for a moment
One that hasn't come yet
