Pathetic

Sometimes I lay in bed
I wonder where you are, and where you’ve been, and where you’re gonna' go
Still see your smiling face
Red hair I brush aside to see your eyes; Green as my bedroom walls
And then I start to cry
Cause' you’re not here to soothe the pain; I mix my tears with alcohol
Look down upon myself
And now I know I really am the most pathetic of them all
The times I wish you were mine…
Are times I wish I would die… DIE!
The times I wake up and cry…
Are times I wish you were mine… MINE!
Another day goes by
Because I slept til' 4pm and spent my night on AOL
I’ve got so much to do. I try to get up off my ass…
But end up staring at green walls
And then I start to cry
Cause' you’re not here to soothe the pain; I hide my fears in alcohol
I look around myself
And now I know I really am the most pathetic fuck of all
