Ocean Eyes

I tried to forget about your smile
And I did but only for awhile
Your eyes were an ocean
They swallowed me alive
I started drowning
And couldn’t be revived
I swam far

Knowing that this
Would lead to no good
But I was wrong
A life vest couldn’t save me from you
