stormy sunday morning in this cosy house
hush now baby let me watch something to browse
cloudy days an' muddy ground fallin' down make you wanna cry
so my girl has left my home it breaks my heart… this time i don’t know why
livin' like a trucker goin' across this land

sun and rain, wind and clouds, movin' fast… sleepin' in my car
in the sky the moon is full it lights my way… tonight i choose my star
glasses on the table full of beer and wine
bottles on the floor empty friends of mine
blood and tears, hate and pain, in my mind… i don’t wanna cry
my old heart is still alright it fills my life… i need to wonder why
