Rats of L.a.

And all the rats here
They live up in the palm trees
I see them out in the evening
Walking on the wires
And it’s not that clear to me
Just how they came to be
Let’s go down, to the corner
And get some beer…
It’s ten o’clock now
I guess we should get going
We have a duty to the people
To set this city right
I’ve got thirty bucks to spend
And a hundred hipster friends
There’s a man selling fruit
And he’s angry…
If you get sick in the sun
Just know you’re not the only one
And chances are you’ll get yourself back
Tomorrow…
We should all
Take it slow
And stay up all night
