I Keep Falling

Lost in this darkened cold world, here I am
Once again in my dreams, I am astray
Demonic spirits call from far away
Hypnotic voices — I keep on failing
A swirl of illuminated dust, a caress of fear
Spinning fast, I cannot breathe — strobe lightning
I am scared
Am I in hell or dreaming
Lost to this world of heathens
Or will I wake up screaming
Still afraid and crying
I feel no pain, I’m bleeding
I drown in blood, still breathing
Must be a sign I dream and I keep on falling!
Enigmatic, elusive state of mind, all so unreal
Even for a dream
Fire, ice, in perfect harmony, dusk and dawn combined
No sense of time
