Time has a funny way
Of takin' some things away
She’s not the girl she used to be
I’ve been here every day
Since she’s been in this place

I got ten head of cows to load

Then she calls for her old cow dog

`cause that old dog’s been gone since '52

Maybe that’s better than her reality
