As a child I diagnosed myself,
With something different every week.
At first I had celiac,
Then a streak when I lost my power to speak.
Then one day at school
I took a fall while running 'round the pool.
I made them put a brace on my neck,
So everyone thought I was cool.
As the doctor came in viewing my chart,
I said to my mom,
shrieking and sobbing, starting to cry,
«Tell dad I love him, 'cause I know I’m going to die.»

When I woke up from my prom, to find,
That I was naked on the floor,
I thought, «Hey what am I doing here?»
Then I freaked,
And I ran right out the door.
I was dragging down the avenue,
hungover from Vermouth.
I tried to get a hold of myself,
'Cause I knew I was losing my mood.
And then everything got easy as,
I thought to myself,
«What the hell did I do?
Whose place was I in?
I got to get checked,
'cause who knows where the hell that guy’s been!»

They say that I’m the one,
Who can’t handle sickness, blood, or pain.
That’s always been my weakness,
And it’s making me insane.
While there has to be a way of proving,
All of this has stemed from my family’s neglect.

When I woke up from a nap, today,
I found a lump down on my breast.

As the doctor comes in, to share the results.
I’m certain he’ll say that he found nothing there.
