Huge Birdless Sky

On a day quite trivial the world came to the end.
Cities drained off the ground like a tear that is quickly wiped away.
Cause I filled my lungs with dusty air.
You know, I couldn’t care, though houses kept collapsing everywhere.
Huge birdless sky above wasted fields all around.
ls this what it means to be, to be lost, to be free.
My face was water and you couldn’t really see it.
I was a flash, a flare,
I was a tiny drip shimmering in your hair.
I was tiny, now I’m river-wide.
I made the earth slip and slide, now the world is going down.
I made the world go down.
