After hitting the snooze
A couple dozen times
There’s nothing in my life that really gets me to move
You could call it the flu
So i pick up my phone
Make a few posts and go have a smoke
Get a little woke
Call someone a joke and then i drown in the news
Something about respecting the troops
Blue light
Scrolling
Head shot
Sipping codeine
Look up and wave hello to the morning
World keeps turning
Shits fucked i know
So i get high solo
Just another face in the crowd trying to figure it out
