Paper hangs and peels from cardboard walls,
The glass made ceilings just revealing the effect we cause,
Splintered doors on hinges beg to fall,
With paint thats flaking,
The minutes taking their toll on the settling of scores,
We’re bricked up,
Locked down,
Falling on ears that never hear you out,
Hemmed in,
In this tumble down,
I’m resting on the king and queen of hearts,
Holding onto jokers in the dark,
