Dinosaurs

there was a tree in my house
that I always used to climb and
it was there when I started to walk
eversince I grew up
as a shadow in my garden
I could share with the kids around
am I losing what I’ve had

there was nothing but a bright light
we could count every star at night
by the way we went down
from the frozen snowy mountains
