Can You Hear the Faeries?

Can you hear the fairies? Can you hear the elves?
Listen to their spirit as they ring their bells
Follow their footsteps, gently they play
with loving tenderness, can you hear them say?
Delight, delight, oh what a life we have
We are from the spirit realm, lend us an ear
Put aside your troubles, gather near
Dance around fairy rings, climb tall trees
Croak with frogs, hoot with owls,
quack with ducks, howl with coyotes
Lighten up, lighten up, let your wings unfurl
We live in the forest, gardens and brooks
Here, there, wherever you don’t look
Delight, delight, oh what a life we have
We dance in meadows, in full moonlight
Flowers are dresses, Foxgloves are hats
Poppies, Roses, Tiger Lilies, Dutchman’s breeches too
Butterflies make nectar for our perfume
Fairies, Elves, Nymphs of Mother Gaea
