What a life to try in dreams
When waking wakes the soaking bed
Tugging boxers to their seams
With people that you thought were dead
The power’s out again, my friend
So make those noises loud again
Limp across the sallow fields
To find a joy that cannot feel
Because I will grow a beard for you

Why would all these colored boys
