Here I stand upon the shore

I look up to seek a signal from above
I hear voices, turn my head
But you aren’t there, the sky is dead
Seagulls wheel and cry
Wind whispers through the sand
Now the sea is rolling in Round my ankles circling
And its cold upon my skin
